Authors have now been notified of the outcome of their submission, including presentation format. We are currently finalising the programme, and further details on presentation schedules and next steps will be shared in early September.

High Scoring Abstracts
- A selection of the highest-scoring abstracts would have been invited to present within dedicated oral abstract sessions forming part of the main UK Stroke Forum scientific programme.
- These sessions highlight outstanding research, innovation and service improvement projects and provide authors with the opportunity to present to a broad conference audience.
NEW for 2026: Bite-Sized Abstract Presentations
- To further increase the visibility of abstracts and research at UKSF, we are introducing a new Bite-Sized Presentation Format for 2026.
- Taking place within the dedicated Abstract Zone in the exhibition hall, these short presentations will provide authors with an opportunity to share their work with conference delegates in an engaging and accessible format.
In-Person Posters
- Selected abstracts have been allocated to an In-Person Poster Tour, providing authors with the opportunity to present and discuss their work directly with delegates and expert facilitators within the exhibition area.
- These guided sessions encourage knowledge sharing, discussion and networking, allowing delegates to explore a range of research and innovations in an interactive format.
E-Posters
- Abstracts accepted as an E-Posters will feature within the UK Stroke Forum app, providing delegates with on-demand access to research throughout the event.
- This digital format helps maximise visibility and enables delegates to explore a wide range of abstracts at their convenience.
Publication of Accepted Abstracts
All accepted abstracts will be published in a supplement of the International Journal of Stroke, ensuring that authors' work is shared with a wider national and international audience beyond the conference.
Publication provides a permanent, citable record of the research, quality improvement projects, service developments and innovations presented at the UK Stroke Forum.
